[FR] Le mur gallo romain est la trace, actuellement la plus visible de cette époque. Il fut édifié à la fin du III ième siècle à l'approche des invasions barbares. Il est constitué d'une muraille et de tours dont il reste quelques vestiges. Son édification a sans aucun doute été hâtive puisqu'il a été construit avec des matériaux assez divers. On retrouve dans certaines parties de ce mur des colonnes ou des motifs de monuments gallo-romains.
[EN] In Bourges, the Gallo-Roman city wall is the most visible remains of the old Gallo Roman city of Avaricum. Some vestiges can be seen throughout the city. It was probably constructed hastily because different kinds of building materials were used.
