The family Kleijssen for generations owned the mill. In 1954 the mill was still in operation, given a thorough overhaul.
Since 1982, the mill operated by the Foundation Molenhof Preserve Kleijsen whose board consists of five brothers and sisters Kleijsen. The children Kleijsen decided to establish the Foundation after the death of their father.In 2000, in collaboration with the Foundation Overijsselse Mill prepared the creation of a new foundation, similar to the design of the Great Foundation Geesterse Mill.The family Kleijsen who gets a seat on the board of the new foundation, the mill management will transfer to the new foundation.
In 2000 the Four Winds Foundation mill was founded. The mill is led by the Foundation restored in 2003. They currently manage with tour guides, shop managers and millers the mill.
Every Saturday in the period from April to October with sufficient wind grain milled. In the shop to mill products such as pancake flour, bread flour, linseed oil, etc. sold.
