In Boston's City Hall Plaza is a newly constructed area of the plaza for The Cancer Garden of Hope at Boston City Plaza.
The area is elevated above Congress Street below, but near the level of the plaza. It is walled in brick on all sides with an entrance at the southeast end. The gazebo is in the center of this space. There are donated brick and paving stones all over the wall.
The gazebo is a six sided structure made mostly of wood, with likely sheet a sheet metal roof. At the peak of the roof is a small cupola. There are three benches inside so you can sit down and enjoy the solitude for the moment.
Seating Type: Bolted Free Stading Seating
Location: In the northwest corner of City Hall Plaza, near Congress Street and within the Cancer Garden of Hope.
Materials Used: Wood
Other Material Used: Likely sheet metal for the roof.
