The Erie Trust Company Building, formerly known as the Baldwin Building, and presently known as the Renaissance Centre, was built in 1925-28 and is the tallest building in the city of Erie, PA. Sitting at the corner of 10th and State Streets, the building was originally built for the Erie Trust Company, which went bankrupt during the Great Depression. Since then it has had two different owners and underwent renovations in the 1990s. Today it houses offices, retail shops, and a restaurant.
