Deep in the downtown area of Boston is station for the Hubway bicycle rental network.
The station is located on the north side of Arch Street, where this road meets Franklin Street. It is in the road, so be careful when walking around. Arch Street is a small, one way road, while Franklin is a major road.
The area surrounding the station is full of tall buildings with stores, offices and residences. One, Millennium Tower, is being built as of this writing (2015).
Hubway is a very successful bike sharing system, now with over three years old (2015). There are stations now in Boston, Cambridge, Brookline and Somerville.
Please obey all rules that apply to bicycles, including the use of bicycle helmets.
The station is a linear rack where bicycles available can be picked up. At one end is where you can make payments.
