The statue presents the fairy queen Titania with donkey (Nick Bottom): a scene from Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
Titania and Nick Bottom are intimately embraced on the Brink in Diever. The statue is placed on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Dieverder Shakespeare theater.
Since 1946, every summer in the open air theater at the Hezenes by residents of Diever staged a play by the great English playwright.
