These bells were given in memory of Christian Louis Weaver who grew up in Pueblo, served on pueblo City council, crafted the proposal that was passed by the taxpayers to fund the hotel and riverwalk.

The plaque reads:

Ring these bells
In memory of
Chris Weaver
and the love he had for Pueblo

Given in memory of Chris after his death in 1999 by his mother Frances Weaver. The bells were fabricated by Jim bishop.
Chirs died November 3. 1999.
Chris had a love and pride for Pueblo.
