Mr Rajotte fought in various Eurpean campaigns during WWII including the Battle of Monte Cassino, Anzio Landing and the drive on Rome. He jointed Massachusetts Army National Guards' which was federalized in 1941, when he was transferred to the Mediterranean Theater. He was part of the 141st Infantry Regiment. He was a Private First Class.
