Weighing two tons, stretching 26 feet across, the skull was sculpted by Joe Barrington in June 2012 from steel salvaged from old Texas oil tanks.

Located at Frontier Texas. Frontier Texas is a history museum, gift shop and the official visitor center for Abilene. The skull can be viewed from the parking lot.

If you want to visit the museum also their hours are: Monday-Saturday 9:00am-6:00pm (last showing at 5:00pm) and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm (last showing at 4:00) and it costs $10.00 for Adults.
