This wastewater treatment facility is located on Guadalupe Road between Greenfield and Higley Road. It recycles wastewater from the area and recharges it to the aquifer through the ponds in the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. The preserve is a major birding area due to the availability of water for a large number of bird species.

Describe the biological treatment technology used.: This is a percolation basin type facility in which water is discharged into a number of polygon shaped basins and the water returns to the groundwater aquifer.
