S.R.W.U.A. Benchmark - Gilbert, Arizona - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is badly over concreted and over painted. It sits atop a tall Zanjero gate near the Freestone Community Center in Gilbert, Arizona. This unusually tall gate has cement steps leading to the top to allow adjustment to water flow in the area. The benchmark is on the north side, approximately nine feet above ground level. The bench mark is so concealed with paint and cement that only the words Benchmark, Elev. and Location can be made out. The benchmark is approximately 26 feet south of the southern edge of Guadalupe Road and 221 feet east of the eastern edge of the entrance to the Freestone Community Center parking lot.
