This dead tree is one of two shoe trees we spotted along Hwy 97. This tree is featured on RoadsideAmerica.com.

Roadside America brought us to this shoe tree. It stands out greatly from the road with a good 100-plus pairs of shoes hanging from dead branches.

This shoe tree is closer to Redmond than it is to Bend, hence the title reflects this (Roadside America lists it as in Bend).

There is plenty of room along the shoulder of the road to park and throw your own pair of shoes onto the tree.
