This is the original tripoint of DC, VA, and MD. Although the new tripoint has moved to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

"Along with a generous slice of Fairfax County, the city later became part of the District of Columbia laid out in 1791, and the stone marking the southern corner still in place at Jones Point" --- Virginia: a Guide to the Old Dominion, Oxford University Press, 1941 The stone itself is now a national historic landmark and is protected by a fence so no one can tamper with it. Interstate 95's Woodrow Wilson Bridge is .2 miles north of here, creating lots of freeway sounds. The stone itself is in terrible, but not unrecognizable condition.
