In Boston's Downtown Crossing section, along Franklin Street, is this building, with a stone dated 1934.

The building is on the southwest side of Franklin Street, in an area often referred as Franklin Place. It has a light stone face and a large recessed door entrance. The stone is on the left. The stone has the simple inscription of the year.

By the door is a carved inscription stating that the site was originally the site of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. The building was once the St. Thomas More Oratory. Today, it houses the Bonarita Restaurant.
