This benchmark is in the foundation of the front wall of the Boylston post office, below the windows and just above the ground. The small post office is set back a bit from Highway 16 on the west side of the road.

While photographing the post office and the benchmark we noticed that they had hung a hummingbird feeder in front of the post office. Quite fortuitously, a hummingbird not only made an appearance, but also alit on the bush in front and posed for us while patiently awaiting our departure so he could get back to the business at hand.
