Horderns Beach is a long sandy beach in Bundeena Bay on the eastern edge of Royal National Park. It provides a safe sandy shoreline to the Bundeena Reserve and Bundeena town shops overlooking the southern end of the beach. The public wharf at the southern end provides parking and is the terminal for the 20 minute Ferry crossing to Cronulla. Toilet facilities are nearby the Ferry wharf.
Horderns Beach is not fenced. Entrances are through Brighton Street, Horderns Lane and Liverpool Street.
The popular beach has some dog restrictions, with dog on-leash and dog off-leash at certain times, check the website listed below. Rubbish Bins are provided at Brighton Street entrance.
A good access point lies about halfway along the beach, at the corner of Horderns Lane: S 34° 04.980 E 151° 08.835, with careful parking required so as not to block boat ramp access.

Bundeena takes its name from an Aboriginal word meaning "noise like thunder" and traces of the original inhabitants, the Dharawal people, are to be seen in rock carvings and middens.

Note: Access Fees not necessary, Bundeena is not part of Royal National Park and if you are driving and merely passing through to Bundeena without stopping within the national park, you would not need to pay an entry fee at the gate to the national park.
