This large bell sits in front of St. Patrick's Church on East 4th Street in downtown Erie, PA. The cast steel bell was made by Naylor Vickers & Co of Sheffield, England in 1859. It is numbered 1114 and states on the backside that it is "E. Riepe's Patent." It sits on a stone that is engraved with the words: "St. Patrick Parish, Spirit of the Bayfront, Since 1837."
