This building is the fourth building built to house the congregation of Knox Presbyterian Church. Construction began in 1914 but was delayed by the outbreak of World War I. The building was completed in 1917. With the merger of Presbyterian, Methodist, and Congregationalist churches in 1925, Knox Presbyterian Church became known as Knox United Church.
