This church is listed on the web under several generic faith-based and business-type web sites, but does not have its own maintained pages, not even on Facebook. According to Doyle Davidson's web page this church was built in 1924 by the Davidsons and other community members. The church is also mentioned in a couple of obituaries.

The church is kept in top condition, and even has a handicap ramp at the front door. The road that runs along the side of the church, Newton Road, is the separation between Jasper County (church side) and Newton County to the south.
