This church is in a township named Lohmer. There is no town here, just an intersection of two Missouri routes: 76 and 39. Less than 1.5 miles to the west-southwest is the Lohmer Fire Tower, which is one of the very few fire towers left standing in Southwest Missouri (the others having been removed to avoid liabilities). This church has no web site, but is listed in some of the generic faith-based websites with just its address and phone number.

The church is not located on the very highest point around, but it is on a relatively high point. The view is great. You can look down and across the road at the Central Crossing Fire Protection District Station 6. The church is about 5 miles northwest of Shell Knob.
