The new Lower Bridge in Boscastle built to replace the existing bridge that was damaged during the flood in 2004. A replacement was also required as the river channel was widened from 5 to 10 metres.

"This road bridge uses 100% secondary sourced aggregates, achieves a span/depth ratio of 28:1 (although it creates the illusion of more) and is curved in plan, section and elevation. Its surface has been sandblasted after it was cast in two halves."
