This monument is like so many, and it has funeral draping up high on the obelisk section. On the main panel, the family name, "Roddy", is on the plinth, and a wreath of roses is on the obelisk section. Below it is:

Died Jan. 13, 1889.
The second panel has a lamb on the plinth, and two angels, bowed in prayer, on the obelisk section. The third panel shows a psychopomp on the obelisk section, with a set of clasped hands on the plinth. The final panel has a funeral garland down low, and higher up, on the obelisk section, is an epitaph:
She sleeps beneath
her native earth,
And near the spot
that gave her birth
Her youthful feet
trod flowers that
bloom
in beauty o'er her
early tomb.
