Allied Military Cemetery in Rossum houses the remains of 12 fallen soldiers.
At each grave is a grave sign identical white stone placed with an embossed logo and a cross.
The cross is not only a symbol of the Christian faith, but also recalls the sacrifice that the war victims brought to live in freedom.
The Allied plot reminds the inhabitants of Rossum to twelve soldiers of the British Commonwealth during World War II died in the struggle against the occupying forces in the area Dinkelland.
