DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1948 AT BURNS.
AT BURNS, ALONG THE NASHVILLE, CHATTANOOGA AND ST. LOUIS RAILWAY, ABOUT 4 RAILS WEST OF THE STATION, 57.5 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE NORTHWEST RAIL OF THE MAIN TRACK, 91 FEET NORTHEAST OF MILE POST 37, 15 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF A GRAVEL DRIVE WAY, 36 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTH CORNER OF A SECTION HOUSE, 26 FEET WEST OF POLE 36+41, 5 FEET SOUTH OF A TELEPHONE POLE, 1 FOOT BELOW THE TRACK AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST FLUSH WITH THE GROUND.
There is a scratched disk due to cut by the lawn mower (I believe).
