The William Perry Bridge is located in downtown Eagle Point and spans Little Butte Creek. I tried to find info on why this bridge is named for William Perry and all I could locate is a historical article (link below) on the early days of Eagle Point and it mentions William Perry as a prominent citizen of the community. He was vice-president of the Little Butte Irrigation Company, composed of land owners whose ditches serve more than 800 acres of bottom lands. He was also supervisor of three road districts. I'm assuming as an upstanding citizen of Eagle Point, this bridge was named after him for his service to the community in many capacities.
