Memorial Hall was erected by the Town of Lee to honor 38 of its citizens who died while in service with the Union Army during the Civil War. The Italinate building was designed by A.D. Munyon, B. C Munyon nd Charles T. Rathbun. The building was dedicated May 30, 1874 and currently houses the town offices.
On the southwest corner of the building is the dedication:

On the second floor in a narrow corridor there is a display of three panels inscribed with the names, regiment, place of death, date and age of 38 soldiers who died during the Civil War. The center tablet contains the dedication:
