Qui d'entre nous n'a pas rêvé de se prélasser sur une rive sablonneuse et d'y marcher sans jamais en voir la fin? C'est ce que proposent les kilomètres de rivage du parc national de la Pointe-Taillon. L'examen attentif du sable révèle un monde de splendeur : grenat, zircon, magnétite, autant de minéraux semi-précieux d'une beauté et d'une richesse fabuleuses. Les eaux douces et exceptionnellement chaudes du lac Saint-Jean ravissent les amateurs de sports nautiques, tout comme les baigneurs de la plage surveillée. De plus, il n'y a qu'un pas à faire pour enfourcher le vélo. Le réseau cyclable du parc totalise 45 km, dont 16 km sont reliés à la Véloroute des Bleuets.
Les Waymarks vous feront découvrir le circuit dans sa totalité. Prévoyez de l'eau et un lunch frugal pour le parcours d'environ 40 kilomètres.

Who hasn't dreamed of a day spent lounging on a vast sandy shore and walking for miles without reaching the end? That's exactly what you can do on kilometres of shoreline at Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon. Close examination of the sand reveals a world of splendour: garnets, zircon, lodestone...a fabulous wealth of beautiful semi-precious minerals. Boating enthusiasts and swimmers love the exceptionally warm water of Lac Saint-Jean. The park's cycling network starts just a few steps from the beach. It totals 45 km, 16 of which are linked to Véloroute des Bleuets.
The Waymarks will make you discover the whole circuit. Make sure you have enough water and lunch for the up 40km run.
