Cut benchmark on south east corner of St Mary's church, Coney Weston.
There was a Church recorded in Coney Weston in the Domesday Book 1086, although the present Church is thought to have been built around 1350. It is a listed grade one building.
Set some way outside the village in agricultural land on the Hopton Road, it is close to a small tributary of the Little Ouse. The setting, although it is removed from everyday village life, is very tranquil and much appreciated as a special place for quiet and contemplative prayer and reflection.
