EN: The Kohler Cave is located on the western flank of Kaltbrunnentals about six meter above the valley floor in the municipality of Brislach.

The cave has a length of 18 meters. When it was discovered by Heinz Kohler in 1934 , the entrance was buried except for a small hole of about 40 cm in diameter. In the back of the cave finds were discovered from the Stone Age.

Until 1938 the cave was excavated and studied. They discovered more than 10,000 stone tools and several times that many animal bones.

DE: Die Kohlerhöhle befindet sich an der Westflanke des Kaltbrunnentals etwa sechs Meter über den Talboden auf dem Gemeindegebiet von Brislach.

Die Höhle hat eine Länge von 18 Metern. Bei ihrer Entdeckung durch Heinz Kohler 1934 war der Eingang bis auf ein kleines Loch von etwa 40 cm Durchmesser verschüttet. Im hinteren Teil der Höhle wurden Fundstücke aus der Steinzeit entdeckt.

Bis 1938 wurde die Höhle ausgegraben und untersucht. Dabei entdeckte man über 10'000 Steinwerkzeuge und ein mehrfaches an Tierknochen.
