This beacon is on Formosa Peak. You should not have a fear of heights and be fairly fit to reach this one in 3 to 4 hours.

The beacon is in the Formosa Nature Reserve but no fee is payable. You will need to get permission from the local landowner to park at his dam and to gain access to the peak.
You can park at the dam(S 33° 50.966 E 023° 40.375) from where you will start the walk.
Do not underestimate this climb. A fear of heights will stop you at the Spine with drops on both sides, and The Gully is surprisingly steep.

You will be well advised to do some homework before attempting this one. The breathtaking views from the top is absolutely worth the effort though.
