It was one of the first four buildings on the Texas Tech campus. It was built in the 1920's. Wyatt C. Hedrick noted Fort Worth Architect of this building. The building has been used mainly for agriculture, but used for various other activities and now houses the Landscape Architecture. Watch where you park on campus. Free parking after 8 pm on weeknights and free parking on weekends. The Agricultural Pavilion is West of the Student Union and North of the Southwest Collection (only at few feet).

Marker Text: One of the first four buildings on the Texas Tech campus, the livestock judging pavilion was the schools first structure built specifically for agricultural education. Completed in the 1920's, it was designed by the noted Fort Worth architect Wyatt C. Hedrick as part of the school's proposed agricultural focus. It has been used for the variety of college functions including early basketball games. The pavilion now serves as a reminder of the influence agriculture had on the early development of Texas Tech University. (1982)
