The Milton MacHenzie Nichol dedicated bench is on the wharf that overlooks the Northumberland Strait. There are informational signs and the Lobster Hatchery also along the wharf located on Caladh Avenue. Well worth a visit when in Pictou.

We visited Pictou and it was a very pleasant experience, the weather was perfect; bright and sunny and the waters were calm. Pictou is known as the "Birthplace of New Scotland". Along Caladh Avenue, The Avenue of the Clan, are colorful Coats of Arms displaced on the light posts.
If you want to experience Nova Scotia at its best a stop at Carvers, is a visit not soon forgotten. While taking pictures nearby a very entertaining fellow greeted me and the comedy began. True Nova Scotian hospitality awaits you.
