USGS Gaging Station at Bridge 756 - Jackson County, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this U.S. Geological Survey Gaging Station / Reference Mark in good condition. This station is a brass disk monumented on top of a concrete wingwall in the NE corner of Bridge No. 756 and about six feet north of the north edge of Brownsboro-Eagle Point Hwy. The station will most likely be covered by brush. This station does not exist in the NGS database. The bridge spans a small irrigation canal that forks north from Little Butte Creek. There is an old water wheel south of the highway and just east of this bridge. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.
