I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey and State Survey benchmark from 1934 in good condition. This station is a brass disk monumented on top of a square concrete syphon that stands about four feet above the ground. The syphon is located directly across the road from a gravel driveway to a private residence and about 15 feet north of the centerline of Brownsboro-eagle Point Hwy. The disk contains the designation stamping of 'F 261 1934'. This station is also listed on a topography map as 'BM F 261 1376'. This station does not exist in the NGS database. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.

*NOTE* This concrete syphon is covered by tree branches and brush and may be hard to spot in the summer months.
