This carved stone lion sits at the intersection of Brown Road and Val Vista Drive in Mesa, Arizona. He is located on a concrete base and his right paw rests on a faded orange globe. He is in front of Citrus Heights Farms fruit stand, facing southeast. The area around this intersection once consisted of miles of orange groves which is probably the significance of the orange globe. This is one of the few surviving fruit stands and is closed for the summer season.
