"The Veterans Memorial was dedicated on President’s Day, February 17, 1997. It was designed by Maynard Nelson and constructed by Randy Leonard Rock used for facing the cement memorial was donated by the Southern Baptist Church. The flag poles were fabricated and donated by C. Myron Niblack. The original US flag was donated jointly by the American Legion, VFW and Auxiliary, and Vietnam Veterans. The original Colorado flag was donated by VFW and Auxiliary members.

Plaques on the memorial honor veterans of all branches of the US Military Services, and local chapters of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, DAV, VFW and Auxiliary, American Legion, Pearl Harbor Survivors Assoc. and Vietnam Veterans of America." (from (visit link) )
