Housed in the rear of the century plus old Nakusp School, the society operates the museum, also in the building, and is the repository for historical information for the Nakusp and Arrow Lakes area.

The society has, in their archives, maps, slides, photos, documents, ledgers and more. One may read about the history of the SS Minto, Nakusp Hot Springs, and many key Nakusp figures. The society has an ever expanding series of Online Articles one may peruse at their leisure. At present there are 30 articles which deal with everything from murder to logging to hospitals to paddlewheelers and everything in between.
