"The Friend's Meeting was established early near Friendsville. A frame meetinghouse was built south of Choconut Lake. Broken up about 1830 because of a division between the Orthodox and Hicksite orders. Meetings resumed later and by 1839 the monthly meeting had 62 members. Removals caused the meeting to be discontinued in 1849...Quaker Churchyard (near Friendsville), Rt. T695. off 4014"
