DESCRIBED BY MARYLAND DOT HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION 1991 THE MARK IS LOCATED ABOUT 5.06 MI (8.14 KM) WEST OF OCEAN CITY, 4.45 MI (7.16 KM) NORTHEAST OF BERLIN AND ON ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY. TO REACH FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. HIGHWAYS 50 AND 113, GO EAST ON U.S. HIGHWAY 50 FOR 2.55 MI (4.10 KM) TO A ROAD LEFT. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTH ON STATE ROUTE 589 FOR 1.86 MI (2.99 KM) TO THE MARK ON THE RIGHT. IT IS 79.9 FT (24.4 M) SOUTH OF A METAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLE, 74.8 FT (22.8 M) SOUTHEAST OF A LIGHT POLE, 46.4 FT (14.1 M) SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF A ONE STORY HOUSE, 29.3 FT (8.9 M) EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF ROUTE 589, 1.7 FT (0.5 M) WEST OF A METAL WITNESS POST AND SET IN THE TOP OF A 0.7 FT (0.2 M) SQUARE CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.3 FT (0.1 M) .

The description is adequate, note that the traffic light pole is actually a flashing overhead caution sign. The station is clearly visible from the roadway. Use caution when stopping for this mark, because the roadway is rather busy at times.
