Caduceus is the staff of healing carried by the Greek god Hermes. It has become a symbol of healing and in this statue presents a protector of the sick. The statue is located on the downtown Scottsdale campus of Scottsdale Healthcare. The statue is about twelve feet tall and is of cast bronze. It was cast by James Nathan Muir, a local sculptor of monumental pieces. This statue was copyrighted in 1997 and is number 3 of 12.
