On the south side of the Cherokee Trading Post, in a grassy field, stand two identical totem poles. They are about eight feet in height. Each is topped with the depiction of an eagle with outspread wings. Beneath the eagle are two animals of some sort, with the bottom carving being a bird.
Off to the east across the field is a pen with live buffalo. The Trading Post is a great place to visit. Lots of history and Native American artifacts, and a terrific gift shop.
