Mounted above a block wall, displayed on grass with live trees, this is a bronze sculpture of a Native American riding a horse. He is dressed in leather, with a feather headdress. He is riding without a saddle, and is holding the horse's reins in his left hand.
At the base of the sculpture, is a raised piece with the artist's name in Cherokee.
The sculpture is located at the Cherokee Trading Post in Calumet, alongside the north service road to I-40.
