"The Grand Mesa Visitor Center, located on the Grand Mesa, is a great place to learn about the ecology and geology of the Grand Mesa. Helpful staff are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday to answer your questions and provide recommendations to enhance your visit. If you have time, join the visitor center staff for a nature hike, or listen to a presentation by some local experts on wildlife, wildflowers, birds, mushrooms, or our thriving population of moose!
Browse the gift shop for maps, local nature books and other merchandise provided by the Rocky Mountain Interpretive Association. Visitors can purchase maps, nature products, Recreation Passes (Annual, Senior, Access Passes), and Forest Service fuelwood permits here
