"Our parish is under the omophorion of His Eminence HILARION, Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. We trace our roots back to our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Apostles and their teachings. We are a refuge of the moral, theological, spiritual, and liturgical traditions of the Holy Orthodox Church whose unbroken Traditions date back to the day of Holy Pentecost in 33 AD. Our church is dedicated to our Father among the Saints Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra of Lycia, the Wonderworker."

"With Father Stephanos’ recommendation and guidance, we have begun the process of replacing the Altar icon of the Holy Trinity with the more traditional “Platytera—Wider-Than-the-Heavens” icon of the Theotokos. Father Stephanos and the Parish Council recently traveled to Holy Trinity Monastery to speak with Father Leonid of the iconography studio, researching the best icon for our church. With great excitement, we were able to secure Father Theodore Jurewicz to hand-paint a Platytera icon for our church for a fee of $1000. It is Father Theodore’s icons that already adorn the upper tier of our iconostas; he also painted the icons of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel on the side walls. We are so grateful that he is willing to share his time and talents, and to create an icon that will match the rest of the iconography in the church. The current icon of the Trinity will be returned to Holy Trinity Monastery.

For many years, our church’s sacred relics had been kept in the Sanctuary. Several years ago, the relic of St. Nicholas was permanently affixed to his icon. And over the past several years, we’ve continued our ongoing research to identify the other relics, to properly label each one, and to set them out in the church for veneration by the faithful. We are developing a book (currently upwards of 180+ pages) that provides the lives of the Saints whose relics we are blessed to have. In addition, we are designing a new reliquary which, when built, will allow the veneration of not only the relics, but also an icon of each of the Saints. We are incredibly blessed to have a relic of the Precious Wood of the Life-creating Cross of the Lord. This relic has recently been embedded into our wooden venerating cross, mounted on a red-velvet-lined backing board, and also put out for veneration."
