EN: The Mundbachfall is located at the exact spot where the Lötschberg line crosses the Mundbach river. It is located on the northern flank of the Rhone valley opposite the village Gamsen. Due to the bridge and the valley recession the waterfall is never to overlook completely. It is likely to be 50 to 80 meters high, the largest single step is probably 20 meters. The waterfall can almost be approached on foot from the road along the north bank of the Rhone. But the trail ends a few meters before the fall is reached.
DE: Der Mundbachfall befindet sich genau an der Stelle, wo die Lötschberg-Scheitel-Linie den Mundbach überquert. Er befindet sich an der Nordflanke des Rhonetals gegenüber des Dorfes Gamsen. Durch die Brücke und den Taleinschnitt ist der Wasserfall nie ganz zu überblicken. Er dürfte 50 bis 80 Meter hoch sein, wobei die grösste Einzelstufe wohl 20 Meter misst. Dem Wasserfall kann man sich zu Fuss von der Strasse entlang der Rhone her nähern. Der Trampelpfad endet aber einige Meter bevor der Fall erreicht ist.
