The town holds an annual festival, featuring a tomato pageant and a tomato fight. Every year this little city gives great attention to America's favorite vegetable...um, I mean fruit (technically). The city of Pittston has celebrated the tomato for the last 31 years. The three day celebration includes a 5k run, a tomato-themed parade, a tomato fight, tomato pageants, and tomato based contest (think you grew the "perfect" tomato, bring it in to be judged).
