This predominantly white wood framed church has a tall steeple, which is the station. In 1949 the white ball was missing from the top of the weathervane. We can report that it is safely back in place as of 2015, but has changed colour.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1942 (HJB)
RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION WITHOUT A DESCRIPTION.  THIS
STATION WAS NOT DESCRIBED.

THE WHITE SPIRE OF COX MEMORIAL METHODIST CHURCH ON THE SW
CORNER OF MIDDLE AND CENTRAL STREETS, IN THE TOWN OF HALLOWELL.  IT
IS A FOUR-SIDED, WHITE SPIRE, RISING FROM A SQUARE BELFRY, WITH A
BALL AND WEATHER VANE AT ITS APEX.
