From 1887 to October of 2009 a Catholic Church, it is now closed and has been sold to a developer. The benchmark is the cross atop the taller of the two spires. It is the left, or north, one of the two.

STATION DESCRIPTION

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1977 (ALB)
THE STATION, LEWISTON ST PATRICKS CATHOLIC CHURCH, IS LOCATED
IN THE CITY OF LEWISTON ON BATES STREET BETWEEN SPRUCE AND
WALNUT STREETS.  IT IS A LARGE RED BRICK STRUCTURE TOPPED BY
TWO SPIRES WITH GOLD CROSSES AT THE TOP.  THE POINT INTERSECTED
WAS THE HIGHEST GOLD CROSS.
