text on sign: "This 1920 Bradley Helve Trip Hammer machine was used to make forgings for the customers of the Union Forging Company, Previously located near this site. The restoring and exhibiting of this machine was lead by Sam Fantuzzo who spent 133 Hrs. on this project."
from website below: "Bradleys were built in Syracuse,...The Bradley company made hammers from the late 19th and early to mid 20th centuries. They were industrial Blacksmithing hammers, and often were used in factories for 3 shifts a day for years, decades, or in some cases most of a century! ...Trains, tractors, plows, and thousands of other machines were build using parts hammered out under a Bradley Helve Hammer."
