Geary is a town of approximately 1300, located in southern Blaine County, and northwest Canadian Count, about 45 miles west of Oklahoma City. The town is semi-rural, with residents working on farms and in the local businesses. The area was original part of the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribal lands, and was opened to white settlement in the Land Run of 1892.
The post office is a one-story brick building, with a single, recessed entry door flanked by display windows.
